Avocado Ranch Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
- 16 oz. sour cream
- single packet dry ranch
- One whole avocado, mushed
- 1 cup fresh salsa, drained (CANNOT BE PROCESSED)
Instructions
Prep your avocado and, in a large bowl, mush it with a fork. In addition, this 3-in-one avocado prep tool on Amazon will definitely help this step go a lot smoother.
Add your 16 oz. of sour cream to the bowl and mix it in with the avocado thoroughly.
Pour and mix in your dry ranch powder packet thoroughly.
Measure out and drain the liquid out of 1 cup of fresh salsa and add it to the mixture; stir everything together thoroughly. Additionally, it's important to note that if you do use a processed salsa for this recipe, the dip won't end up achieving the desired texture, therefore it's better to refrain from using processed salsa and instead use a fresh salsa.
Serve and enjoy with your chip or cracker of choice! Personally, I like to serve it with tortilla chips. So, don't forget to pick some up on your next grocery run.
- This avocado ranch dip can be stored in the fridge for around 2-3 days, however, don't forget to give it a stir before serving again.
- You could probably give the flavor of the dip a kick by using a spicier salsa, so you can experiment with the taste a bit.
